We believe your experience should be entirely stress-free. From our fully-stocked fridge to our studio wardrobe to our gentle, baby-led approach, every detail is expertly guided so you can simply arrive and be present.
Do I need to bring my own clothes for the Maternity session?
Not at all. You’ll have full access to our studio wardrobe, though many mums-to-be love bringing a few of their own outfits, too. Combining both gives you a beautiful, varied gallery while making sure you feel completely comfortable throughout.
To ensure total privacy and peace of mind, our studio team consists exclusively of female photographers only. There is never any pressure to show any skin or reveal your bump.. but for mums who would like a few delicate, nude or semi-nude artistic portraits, you can rest assured you are in a completely private, comfortable space.
Do I have to do the maternity session?
Not at all but we highly encourage capturing this magical stage professionally and getting that one image to keep forever.
You are welcome to skip it. Please note that skipping the maternity session we will adjust your First Year Journey from a 4-part experience to 3 part, commencing with the Newborn Experience once baby arrives.
What if my baby cries or won't sleep?
This is completely normal and expected, which is why we only schedule one newborn session per day. Our sessions last approximately 2–3 hours to ensure a calm, unhurried, baby-led experience with plenty of time built in for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. We never rush, creating a peaceful environment for both you and your baby.
Is there a catch?
There truly isn’t one! We believe in complete transparency so you can relax and enjoy every moment. Your investment secures your session experiences, full studio styling, and your included mounted artwork with the matching digitals.
At your cinematic viewing appointment, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase additional wall art or full digital collections if you fall in love with them - but there is zero pressure or hard sell. You choose only what you love, with flexible payment options available if required.
What if I book and something happens to my baby or my pregnancy?
Your family's health comes first. In the tragic event of a loss, we provide an immediate, full refund with no questions asked.
For hospital stays, early births, or scheduling hiccups, we simply pause and adjust your dates. Newborn sessions are wonderfully flexible and can be held anytime up to 6 to 7 weeks after birth, giving you all the time you need to recover without missing out on your baby's first photos.
What if I don't know how to pose or feel awkward in front of the camera?
That’s completely fine nearly all parents that walk into our studio do at first! Our sessions are entirely guided by an experienced female photographer. We give you natural, comfortable direction every step of the way so you never need to worry.
